So far as I can see Obama is intelligent and well spoken, but I do not consider him to be experienced. I do not think it has any original ideas, I consider him to be warmed over Jimmy Carter and I think most of his ideas are not particularly good and just another product of the Chicago political machine.

You're right as to Obama appearing as just another politician. He has become tainted by the environment and the campaign. You can not express radical or novel ideas and get elected. The transformation was fairly visible these past two years. He has had to back off of and modify numerous positions.

Obama has the background and history of working from the bottom up. This trait will be critical in relating to the masses who are facing what will be some very difficult times ahead. Palin's background and experience all seems to have been linked to an agenda that's not necessarily what's best for the majority, but for her close knit circle. Eight years of that has cost us dearly.

Obama has the ability to think and make critical decisions under pressure. This is something Palin and McCain both lack.
