the 5 trillion consists of projections, and those projections are factored into the budget. Bush ADDED 5 trillion to the national DEBT, whereas we will have about a 1 trillion dollar DEFICIT next year, which then means we will have an 11 trillion dollar debt (compared to about 4 trillion when Clinton was president just 8 short years ago). See that sharp spike? thats dumbya.

Iraq's projected costs are 2 trillion. We have not paid 2 trillion for Iraq- YET. We have paid about 600 billion thus far for Iraq, not including some affiliated expenditures.

Medicare part D is estimated to cost 1 trillion between the 2006-2015 period, so approx 400 billion has been expended thus far as an estimate.
This is the best commentary about the Medicare part D scam from Waxman,

Taking all these massive expenditures into account and calling this a payout to the poor is a colossal stretch.

Face it, this administration acted like a bunch of Oligarchs. they ripped off the public to pay into their special interests. The numbers are right there in black and white.
