Clinton ordered missile strikes at bin Laden's camps - and was heavily criticized by republicans who portrayed the attacks as an effort to deflect attention away from Monicagate. As usual, republicans put "politics first" and "Country Last".

If Clinton had taken decisive action after numerous sailors were killed by alQaeda on the USS Cole, there would not have been a need for US troops to go to Iraq in the first place.

Let me see... if Clinton's airstrikes had been more fortunate and managed to eliminate bin Laden, Saddam would not have aquired WMD and there would have been no need for Bush to invade Iraq.

But Clinton did not eliminate bin Laden, so Saddam aquired WMD - oh, wait... he never really did have them, but Bush invaded anyway... so it's Clinton's fault that Saddam didn't have WMD and Bush invaded without cause.

Uh oh... I'm starting to understand neocon thinking....

Palin with Brian Williams this evening was a gas... Palin was commenting how many in the press had mischaracterized her... so Brian said... "Here's your chance. Set the record straight."

Palin: "I don't want to rehash all that."

Typical. SHE brings up the subject then retreats when given the opportunity to be specific.

Perfect evidence that Palin doesn't have the brain wattage to be a decent politician, let alone vice-president, or, heaven forbid, president.
