<<<The wealthy and greedy Ann Ryand worshippers have had their turn. >>>

You mean the smaller government, freedom loving, moose killing, and Washington outsider stuff?

I am pretty confident that Sarah Palin will not read the memo on that it is over. I don't think she reads much of anything. But I think she will be back. She will be stronger than ever next time without being burdened by McCain.

This Ayn Rand bs is not going away that easily.

I mean, I doubt Sarah Palin even knows anything about Ayn Rand. But the machinery is there to enable ignorance. Just listen to Bill Kristol, Sean Hannity, Rich Lowery, etc

I considered 2006 but it's not the same as the mano a mano quality of a presidential race where you can paint the other guy as an effete, traitorous queer that not even his mother could trust.

And Jim Webb only won by a whisker, otherwise the Reps would have kept the Senate.

The current base of Bush voters has had it firmly inculcated that anyone their guy runs against shouldn't just lose, he is an unworthy scumbucket who threatens our very Republic.

Losing to (what they perceive as) that is more than most can accept.
