The main reason society is so polarized now is because too much change has been forcibly thrust on people in the last 30-40 years. It's not normal to totally rewrite society in a few decades. There has been too much to accept in too short a period of time and it is a world gone mad for those who reject it.

I'm still ruing that fact that it's McCain and not Romney in there. I really think that Romney would have eaten Obama for lunch in those debates....IMO he was the right man for the right time...

Aside from the fact that Romney could never connect with voters, can't you just see him being crushed by this financial meltdown? Romney is the epitome of a handsome, well-dressed CEO. He is Wall Street personified. And if you think John McCain is getting called a racist for every criticism of Obama, think how that would go double for a Mormon? After all, everybody knows they're bigotted! Everybody in the media, at least.
