I'm with you on that. Though I'd feel better about the future if I see a massive, bloody capitulation (though it'd take my paper value down), I'm also not trying to catch the exact bottom. I'm simply buying before everyone else starts to.

We may be near the bottom. But there's nothing like a good old-fashioned crash to convince everyone and their yellow dog (as long as they have case) that it's time to buy.

I advertently made most of my orders day orders the other day but have since re-entered them as GTC's. And the fills right now are few and far between.

So I guess there's a selfish reason for wanting massive capitulation, too. So I can get some friggin' fills!

Encouraging to see people posting here that they are buying. Are we the only such thread?

Imo, you cannot call yourself a value investor if you have monies available and you are not committing monies to stocks now.


Apparently you're not alone in whatever meager buys might be happening in the markets. Besides Mr. Buffet's very publicly known stance, we now have other "expert" investors making very public statements about this buying opportunity...
