"I know you are a socialist."

Like so many things you "know", it has little to do with reality.

You want to talk about risk? How can you vote for McCain? His campaign has been erratic, lurching from one stance to another, and it has engaged in high risk activities. The best example is the Ashley Todd mess. The campaign jumped in early and set the narrative for much of the nuttiness of her later responses. Long before the police had even really started their investigation, the campaign was pushing it in a high profile way to slam Obama and his supporters. And it all turned out to be a hoax.

I will grant you that his campaign is under stress. But, that is the whole point. Can we really afford a president who starts behaving erratically and impulsively under stress? And whose impulsive decisions are usually wrong and often disastrously so? The biggest liabilities for the McCain campaign has been McCain himself. There were several decisions that either were made by McCain or he was at least talked into that have led to his campaign falling so far behind. From choosing Palin, to going exclusively negative to running with the Todd thing before any facts were in all show extremely poor judgment when under pressure.

And that is something we cannot afford.

It is interesting that you guys continue to avoid the REAL issue of Obama's lack of competence for the job and the potential for disaster if his lack of qualification

That's because it isn't an issue. You need to listen to Powell's endorsement.....he speaks for many Dems and Republicans.
