The GOP has screwed small farmers. They stand with only the big agribusiness combines, and also the old moneyed huge ranch owners who in the Rockies are known as "ranch Nazis". The GOP only gives a damn about farmers at election time. And scores of farmers now are losing their land to banks, even though they are in one of the safer industries. After all, people must eat. You want to learn the truth about farming trust Willie Nelson, not the GOP. If you're smart, you'll go 100% organic, start a wind, biofuel ord solar farm and look toward the future. The GOP's lax food health standards and allegiance to polluters have made a lot of people sick. People want to live healthy lives now. So go green and be a real shepherd of the earth. If you're pouring chemicals on your crops, burning tons of gasoline and sucking up too much groundwater, you're going to end up broke and hurt the country to boot. So smart thinking ahead. People don't want crap anymore, so get smart and healthy.
