MP,

That is something I wish I could have written, if I only had that writer's ability. Spot on perfect summary.

My Chrysler friends are seriously concerned about what they will do when the axe falls. The impact to Michigan and the Detroit area cannot be fully understood at the present time. Any supplier foolish enough to have more than 50% of their sales with Chrysler is in serious danger. Fortunately for the company I work for, we only have minivan content and will not be impacted significantly by the <merger/sale>. Lots of suppliers and lots of jobs will be gone forever.

I think my house is about to lose another 10-20% of it's value <ng>

PS, I didn't even consider putting an offer in on that house on Oakland Hills. I won't be here long enough to make it worthwhile at break even.
