To be candid, I have noticed that Palin is sounding somewhat different than how she sounded earlier. She seems to be more together in her thoughts and in expressing those thoughts. Is it because she has shunned her handlers because she found them too restrictive? Or is it because of her SNL appearance :)

Note that I think Palin MAY be disregarding her handlers, or she may just be too dumb to keep up. She can't convey a baseline talking point in an interview, we already know that from her interviews. I think she is intentionally disregarding them. I saw her landing in some city where she purposely went over to the press and starting talking with them. Her press person tried interrupting and bringing the questions to an end but Palin ignored her. Palin is full of herself. Her popularity with a certain segment of the GOP base has fed her arrogance and made her willful. And it didn't start recently....remember when she said her husband and she would go to Michigan and turn things around after McCain decided to decamp from MI? She is ignoring the comments from the Colin Powells and C. Buckleys. I think she is destined for a very big fall.
