Gee Grace, I like to think that I KNOW private insurance companies, which are for profit enterprises. Because of this they will do their best for their officers and shareholders.
It really doesn't matter WHAT they are insuring.

What does that translate to in the free market? Attempting to sell all their insurance to the people that least need it, and making insurance unaffordable or unavailable to the people most likely to need it.

Which is why government sponsored, cover ALL for the same cost, spread the risk health care and insurance is really the ONLY way to go.
