Benoit Mandelbrot, discoverer of Chaos theory and fractals in 1980 is in your camp. He said this economic debacle could be worse than anything we have seen since the Revolutionary war. There was never any doubt in my mind all three car companies would need some form of nationalization to survive. We need to keep them as part of our economic infrastructure, so it may take a partnership with the government to get them to start producing fuel efficient cars people need going forward. I am in a pretty good housing market and everything is dead as a door nail. Plus many of my freinds have not only lost the lions share of their investments, but are really struggling financially. Very sad, what is taking place.
