What's even worse is that the gap between the rich and poor, have accelerated during the Bush administration to unprecedented levels.

So the fact is that we already live in a socialist society, brought about by the Neocon Republicans. In this version of socialism, redistribute the wealth from you and me, to the top 1%. This is what it is like for the very wealthy. They buy power in order to increase their wealth, which allows them to buy more power to increase their wealth even more. It's time for that to stop, and yes, it's time to reverse that trend, before the other 99% of us have zero wealth and live in an oligarchy with all of our freedoms taken from us, since we will be powerless to resist.
