Even UPI once admitted it: upi.com This issue has been discussed and discussed forever. The NY Time went to great pains to explain why the McCain was returned for editing. They did the same thing to the Obama piece. The only difference......Obama made the changes; McCain refused. That's what I call: Stupid is as stupid does!....of course, McCain is insufferably arrogant as well. Media contributions favor Obama 100:1 First, I stopped my subscription to IBD because the paper's biased editorial position was starting to infect its business articles. Secondly did you look at what IBD posted to support their position? By IBD's standards, Fox News is one of the most pro Dem media in the land.....they gave money to the Dems but none to the GOP: Please tell me.....does that make any sense to you? know you don't spend too much time reading and thinking about the FACTS, but in case you want to actually review the facts, here they are. And of course, when you do bother to look at the facts, you go to a source that will guarantee that you will find 'the facts' you desire. MRC has a mission statement to prove that the media is biased: "The mission of the Media Research Center is to bring balance to the news media. Leaders of America's conservative movement have long believed that within the national news media a strident liberal bias existed that influenced the public's understanding of critical issues. On October 1, 1987, a group of young determined conservatives set out to not only prove — through sound scientific research — that liberal bias in the media does exist and undermines traditional American values, but also to neutralize its impact on the American political scene. What they launched that fall is the now acclaimed — Media Research Center (MRC)." If your goal is subjective/biased, its very likely you will be able to meet that goal.
