I know you are liberal, but I think also you appreciate the value of the middle as a control from going too quickly in one direction or another.

And I admit to having some qualms about the idea of a Dem pres and Dem congress. While I want to see things accomplished, I fear some of the wild-eyed libs.

There is no way I would ever return to a Rep party led by Palin, though.
