That's the problem with you Rand types, everything has to be black and white with you, no gray. Our country is a mix of socialism and free market NOW, and has been for years. Our most revered socialist institution is our military. China is an intriguing mix of socialism and capitalism now too. Coming from different directions, we're meeting in the middle, with the Goldilocks combination that's just right! Our country has been driven into the ditch by ideologues just like you. Screw ideologies - I don't CARE about them. Let's try stuff, and go with what WORKS. Jobs are best provided by a free market. Health care is best provided by the government, as proven by health care systems outcomes the world over.
