Do you seriously believe that defense, pharmaceutical, energy, medial and insurance industries--among others--got no welfare from Republicans over the past 50 years!?!

Welfare is transfer payments. Defense spending is government spending in order to be able to deter, defeat, or initiate attacks.

Would I say that none of it, or no spending in other areas isn't directed for the purpose of enrichment of some company that has influential friends in government? Of course not. But the program as a whole is not a transfer.

There is real "corporate welfare", subsidies handed out to corporations. Of course non-rich people benefit from them (non-rich people own shares in, and also work for corporations), but its reasonable to say the majority of that money benefits wealthy people.

But corporate welfare, while obnoxious in principle, and far too large in practice, is much smaller than the collection of government transfer programs.

Also most of the money for the corporate welfare programs comes from the wealthy to begin with. Robbing from the rich and giving to the rich isn't "reverse Robin Hood".

as Reagan got elected on with angry white men troubled 'bout race and sex

Reagan got elected because people where tired of the poor job that Carter had done, and because people recognized things like the fact that 70% tax rates where counterproductive, and that the US needed to rebuild its military.
