Neither McCain nor Obama is significantly like either Robin Hood or the Sheriff of Nottingham. Both are far more different from both, than they are alike.

But in terms of how government would operate in terms of transfers of wealth, if they where president, both (and any other candidate that has had a significant chance of becoming president since WWII) are more like Robin Hood.
