I've seen local tv newscasts (New England) interviewing stock pundits stating this is a great time to buy. Lots of folks probably will buy near-term thinking they've found a bottom--so the market will probably go up some, but then I think it's gonna get knocked back down and remain unsettled until the election is over.

The true fact of the matter is the Republicans deserve to lose the seats they're gonna lose, whether the treasury buys stocks or not.

In the vein of "buy the rumor, sell the news," wouldn't it be logical that the results of the election are being priced into the market right now?

Best wishes,
