True, but Bush Sr raised taxes and got other countries to pay for the war we were in. That's something. You can't always blame a father for the son's actions. Sr was a far better man than Jr.

The elder Bush is a decent man. Unfortunately his wife Barbara is the one wearing the pants in the family. She raised the children with terrible values. She told Jeb that if did not deliver Florida to GWB, don't bother coming home for Thanksgiving. She called Hillary something that rhymes with "rich".

Barbara looks like G WH Bush's mom.
