Carranza, I'm sorry but as the investor I have to defend Sir Alan Greenspan as well. Were the folks blind and deaf to use the credit and hoping that miracle will save them on day of reckoning? It would be like blaming God that he gave us freedom of choice. Here in Canada there are five chartered banks, take a closer look at CIBC and Scotia Bank. Both had the same opportunity created, CIBC is on the verge of going under (they will not for different reason) while Scotia is just fine and sound. Folks who horded gold will never see again POG at $250 and there was plenty of it around. Thanks Alan. Marek
