but lets imagine scenario where gold does appreciate considerably. I think gold will get the biggest hit of initial speculative cash as it has more of a safe harbour reputation.

Platinum should have further to go when (if) normality returns, don't forget palladium though. Platinum substitute metal.

I just bought my first third of physical gold and feel better for it. I know how to jump out the way no matter what 18 wheeler comes down the pike.

I am going to sit out buying stocks for a while, and if and when I do buy BTU, it will probably be calls.

According to JP Morgan, 35% of all Convertible Bonds in Asia now yield 15% or more..... Hedge Funds playing in this space have all been taken out and shot.

Hearing that many private banking clients in Hong Kong have not lost a lot in their accounts with the bank - they've lost EVERYTHING. (mainly those worth $5-20 Million).
Leverage is a bitch....
