That's not how the public sees her and public perception is everything. I'll grant you that the McCain campaign really, really bungled her introduction to the national stage. But she didn't help herself with the Couric interview and the several other interviews where her lack of knowledge was on full display. Give her 4 years on the national stage, though, and she'll pick it up. She sure did pick the soundbites up quick for her Biden debate. Now she needs to get depth.
