You guys seem to be at "war" with the millinielists. I do not believe from what I understand of my reading that there will be a literal 1000 year reign either, but that doesn't mean I can't agree with 99% or what a millenielist may believe. Relevant question for now seems to be: Are we serving Jesus now? Whether or not there is a literal 1000 year reign on the earth or not -- how does that change any of the fundamentals of what we are to be about doing with our short time on the earth? Suppose that it is a fact -- there is no literal 1000 year reign or vice versa -- a man serves Lord Jesus in faith all his years believing the inccorect idea about the future -- will this man be lost for an incorrect understanding of the end-times? Is this really something we should divide amongst ourselves over? Sincerely Barry

Greetings Robert--Your gentle firmness in the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is a great encouragement to me. You came into this Church of cyberspace on SI with love and bearing Jesus in your heart. The evil tares, sensing a love that is foreign to the hatred in their hearts, immediately began to falsely judge and condemn you. One immediately accused you of being Emile using a new identification. Another deceiver called you a clone of Emile. Like the Pharisees of old, they were, in effect, condemning the Holy Spirit that God has placed in you. Their evil and satan-inspired intent was to poison the pure waters before the children could partake of your sweet words. They used their evil and secret codes to spread hatred against you in order to destroy your character and your witness. Their tongues are in the employ of satan. Where was their Christian hospitality? Where was their tender love towards strangers and newcomers? Their very actions and words idenitified them for what they are. Yet, with all this calumny, you resisted satan's attempsts to put hatrd and discord upon your heart and your emotions. You responded to their hatred,with love and you continue to offer them the olive branch of peace. Your gentle love, your firmness in the doctrines of the pure Gospel and your constant spirit of reconciliation are a powerful witness of Christ in you. May Christ continue to protect you from the evils of the world. Continue in the love of Christ. Continue to proclaim the gift that the Holy Spirit has given you. May all who truly love Christ come into the fullness of His stature. Emile, a servant of Christ and called to proclaim the pure Gospel once and for all delivered unto the saints.

Robert, I've been gone awhile but it is good to stop by for a reading of some of the latest comments. I agree with your reply except I believe we had our first resurrection when we were born again by the Holy Spirit of God(Eph 2: 1-7). Here it is said that we were dead and brought to life, can this be anything except a spiritual resurrection? Ephesians - NASB 2:1 And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, 2 in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. 3 Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. 4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
