Short term, the market is being overwhelmed by forced liquidation from banks. That is to say, intense selling continues as banks call in loans. Normal technical (and sentiment) indicators have stopped working because this market is being strangled to death by the banks.

Intermediate term, I agree with what you are saying. There is great value in the Miners here at $700 POG. When the turn to the upside comes, it will be quite dramatic.
