The wave of goofy nonsense thrown at Obama should peak this weak as folks get desperate to find something that will stick and change the momentum out there in the real electorate. It will all be accompanied by dire warnings about the huge price we will pay when we find out that Obama really is the evil alien they are painting him as. Then most of it will be forgotten after November 4 and by inauguration day, the smear campaign will be a funny little historical footnote in what turned out to be an historic campaign. Only the hardcore tinfoil hat brigade will keep kicking it around in the rightwing tabloids.
