I think the problem is that the birth certificate thing has already been discussed several times here.

why shouldn't we believe the judge who dismissed the case? my reasoning suggests he looked at the facts and determined there was not enough evidence to warrant a trial.

if there was enough probable cause to warrant a trial, don't you think the judge would have allowed the case to continue?

if you believe the judge is lying or misrepresenting facts or withholding 'justice'; then we have crossed a line into conspiracy and conjecture. that is tinfoil hat territory, true or not.

at some point you have to give the proper sworn in authorities the benefit of doubt else we devolve into conspiracy and speculation.

not that there is anything wrong with that, per se, but trying to punch those buttons here will probably net you the results given.

There ARE real questions about Obama, as well as McCain.

Is there some reason why we shouldn't think of McWhatisname is the real manchurian candidate then?

Is there some reason to vote for him other than sympathy for his POW experience?

Sober -

Yes, there are legitimate questions about Obama, but they have to do with his policies, not his national origin.

Worldnet News Daily offers consistently shoddy reporting, unsourced allegations, such as this one from the article you linked to:

"In a startling development, Obama's Kenyan grandmother has reportedly alleged she witnessed Obama's birth at the Coast Provincial Hospital in Mombasa, Kenya."

They are sensationalizing this so-called development by using the word startling. But they provide no information on the source of the the information. Who reported the allegation? Was it Andy Martin? Bugs Bunny? How is anyone to know? Basically, what you have there is a completely unfounded accusation, presented as if it were a fact. In other words, bullshit.

If you decide to believe information from sources with no credibility, and without applying any skepticism to what they say, that's your privilege. But there's no reason to expect that people will accord any credibility to you in that case.

You also have to realize that this phony birth certificate story has been circulating for months. We've all seen it. And we've all seen the completely credible refutations of the story, coming from authoritative sources. So nobody on this thread can be expected to get excited about this at this late juncture.

We are being perfectly polite on this thread. Nobody has insulted you personally. So I don't know why you say the market has reduced our patience.
