Direct funding to Iraq totals $653 billion through July 14th. fas.org I'd estimate about $675-685 billion to date. I believe the total cost, so far, when VA benefits and interest paid to the PRC exacts it's pound of flesh exceeds $3 trillion, going forward until the last vet passes away. Still, facts have no power over many. These numbers have been put out year by year -- 80 billion here, 120 billion there. One could only by off by 85% by wearing blinders.
