Not really, I like Porsches, but I've never driven one. I also root for them in road races when BMWs are not involved. They are great cars, no doubt.

You can buy a mid-late 90's M3 for around 10K, if you want a track car.

That's old school...the real deal is DSG (twin clutch) perfected by VW/Audi. Fly into a corner, hard on the brakes and hit the paddles for perfect computer controlled rev matching down shifts. Up shifts...haaa....bang, bang bang...amazingly quick.
Motor mounts need an upgrade here oh and the launch program is fun too, just like the old F1 cars were able to use.
