Robert, Nice post. June 30 to now means they have had four months to ramp up capacity. Another two months is the end of the year and they will have doubled output to 20 units a month. To me, this means that, as expected, they are experiencing production difficulties in the ramp up. Remember, they are still TESTING their lasers. CYMI are SELLING their lasers.

Let me throw this out (get this old brain working) for debate. Perhaps they have assumed that only a certain number will be of sufficient quality to be put into production. So, if the numbers add up, a third of the lasers they will produce are assumed to be of the production quality that the stepper manufacturers require during 1QCY98. They will probably increase the yield as they iron out production difficulties. Can anyone provide insight? What is the equivalent figure when CYMI first doubled production (96?) and what is it currently?
