Gee, how about everything you took for granted and more? Socialism always works in a vacuum, but with the abysmal record it has all over the world, only a liberal could think it might work if we keep trying." Looking at the DOW, I'd say that capitalism seems to have a bit of a vacuum under it. Lets strip off the brainwashing labels like socialism, capitalism, liberal and conservative and look at it for what it is. Wall Street bankrupts itself in an orgy of greed, hubris, arrogance, invulnerability and greed and then goes begging for the victims to bail them out with a $750 billion dollar welfare package. That is an inversion of spreading the wealth. It's called concentrating the wealth. That is socialism too, just goes in the opposite direction. American CEO's getting stinking rich outsourcing jobs and American industry to say China, which in turn threatens the very security of the American way of life. That's a national security problem. Main Street bankrupts itself in an orgy of stupidity, greed, politically encouraged membership in the "ownership society" and Greenspanian advice, and then loses everything. No bailouts, no breaks, just get the fark out and get a job you lazy bum. This is all called capitalism? No wonder Chavez is laughing at you guys. This is Socialism for the Rich. Nothing more, nothing less. Privatize the profits and publicize the losses. Communism, just that a different class benefits. OK so this bad for the repubs, so enter "Joe the Plumber". Now here's a classic bait and switch move. What is now isn't, and what isn't now is. "Joe the Plumber", by coincidence, is going to buy a plumbing biz that grosses just over $250K. So even if Joe, not a plumber, grows the business and his profit is over $250K only that amount over $250K is going to be subject to a slightly higher tax rate. Gee Joe, just borrow a Wall Street tax lawyer for an hour and problem solved. Problem the repubs have is that only a tiny portion of the populace falls into "Joe the Plumber's" staged moment of fame. So the socialism example of "Joe the Plumber" is just a smoke and mirrors ploy to ply the dumbed down masses that might be stupid enough to vote for McPalin. Hence the Bushlike "country bumpkin" Palin approach, complete with the ole Bush "look out for the terrorists" (they've bin good for me) routine. What is actually quite funny is that the attendees at Palins perch rants are the very people who would get a tax cut. "Hey hoooohah, she's got a lapel pin and can see Russia from her house. She'd never hornswaggle us." Putin must be pissing himself laughing. Like wishing he owned Diebold. LOL. If you want socialism for the rich. Vote McPalin. They are dangerous Socialists. So roll the dice people. At least we are not facing a Hillary presidency. There is a chance that a young, intelligent man could actually turn the rotten to the core mother ship around. With McPalin or Hillary, you'd be completely farked.
