I couldn't begin to guess how much those rights would be worth. Perhaps very little if internet by cable doesn't take off.

The emotional arguments surrounding cable modems reminds me of the early xDSL bickering.

It's all speculation at this point. I still maintain that 3 billion is too large of a bet to place on a company with nearly 0 sales and whose subscription rate is running 95% behind their projections.
