It was a government official who said Joe would likely be unaware of the lien unless he checked specifically for that lien or at least his credit.

And come on, $1,182 is hardly anything to go nuts over. I know the IRS does (typical of them), but why should the media? I hope karma hits those attack dogs in the media and they get "audited" over a few hundred dollars in tax underpayment.
