Look it up in the records of the County Clerk in Colorado. Just pull a title report on the parcel.

In the 1930s my my Grandfather and his brother had bought Beverly Hills Van and Storage out of bankruptcy. One man looking for work was going to shoot himself if he couldn't find a job in California so his family could get the life insurance money.

Although this seems unlikely today, it's actually one of the major reasons so many life insurance firms failed during the Great Depression. Times were really that hard for people without money.

It's tough looking back and understanding what those times were really like. But we'll have our own experience today.
