When do you think the long bond might start to get hit hard?

When rates begin to creep up.

When that will be I don't know, but in my estimation it will happen sooner rather than later and I would like to buy TBT when it is nice and cheap such as ASAP.

It won't be when the long bond rates go up.

Fed will cut, of course, but it can influence the long bond very little.

the cost of hedging treasuries is increasing substantially. that will also imo correlate with higher rates and therefore a higher TBT.
