Well, I didn't intend to be offensive with that comment, but the only way anyone could identify BO as a "uniter" is if s/he ignored everything BO has done in his career, ignored his playing of the race and class cards at every opportunity, ignored his past associations and harkened only to his rhetoric. I would prefer it if Obama supporters simply said that they were in favor of his economic and social agenda. If they cannot say that, then please do not blow smoke about BO as a transformative leader and uniter.
