re: KRW, i don't think there's an ETF on this. also, Kospi has been killed. i took a position in EWY today. KRW hit an 18-yr low vs. JPY this past week.

EWY hit 52-week low last Friday--a 73% drop from the highs. survived a retest yesterday and now up low double digits.

current leader of Korea is Lee Myung-Bak, widely despised career criminal--and i don't mean that metaphorically. despite criminal background, Lee got elected due to, among other things, promising to raise the Kospi from then-1800 to 3000 within one year, and 5000 within five years. Lee was cheered by evil triumvirate of toady newspapers in his pocket.

now, the market is down from over 2000 to under 1000--much worse in USD terms! Lee is the most unpopular president in Korean history. vilified for weak negotiations with US over free trade agreement, and for sucking up to Japan as well. (doesn't help that his name reads "Akihiro" in Japanese, and indeed Myung-bak isn't even a real Korean name).

anyway, count me in here. i think both KRW/USD as well as Kospi could improve, providing double pleasure.
