If all of Obama's supposed US supporters took the day off to "support his campaign..." wouldn't the money the employers usually pay the employee be soft money for the campaign?

Is it legal for anyone to donate money on the day of the election?

What if the companies these employees work for have already given the max amount?

If they work for the Government (Fed, State or Local) do these various entities have to pay these employees? (BTW, in the 2000 election I saw several employees from the University of Washington out with their signs at my office building....their signs said so....WITH MY TAX dollars....)

Who pays the taxes on money the employee supposedly gives by taking the day off?

Obama should have said the employees should take the day as a Vacation day.
