Then consider all the exemptions, deductions, credits (including EITC), and the stimulus check.

A majority of the poor pay no net federal income tax.

You better get someone to do your tax's because you sure suck at reading the tables. The top rate is 35% not 15%. Anyone making $8,000 and has one child is not paying tax's and getting welfare he didn't earn.
