Bubble concern me. That is an easier way out of this mess but it leads to more messes in the future.

Instead of going into a bear market after the end of the 20 year bull (cycles), we went into two bubbles: dot coms and debt.

The dot com bubble may have been one thing but this debt bubble may cause serious financial and economic damage to the world. People and corporations were spending money they didn't have and then walking away from paying it back.

We are currently borrowing on a national basis to prop up financial institutions. What happens if AIG actually goes bust even after requesting (and probably receiving) more than the $120 billion they are running through like water?

We are now looking at propping up insurers and (no way jose) hedge funds. GM has floated the idea that we buy them as well.

SOCIALISM?

Aren't capitalists supposed to be against socialism? Whatever happened to letting corporations win and lose on their own?
