OT: We use Nat Gas, which has a about 103 KBTU of heat energy per CCF. Propane has about 92 KBTU per gallon. Just checked last months heating bill: $1.22 per CCF bottom line. That maps out to $1.37 per gallon of propane for the same heat energy, and the NG is always just there waiting to be used.

FWIW I suddenly feel very lucky to have access to NG!

One very unusual fact about Michigan that very few people realize. The state stores a very large percentage of the NG that gets used each winter in the US. It has to do with the geology of the ground. There are massive underground storage systems around the state. Many people live on top of one and don't even know it.
