Craig,

The only speculations that make sense to me are:

1. They want to invest more money into the J/V chip plant they have previously announced.

2. They need the cash to buy some company. IMO, this seems like a likely one.

3. They want to buy back Seagate's shares (all or part). This could very well be the case.

Time will tell.
