Well the example assumes that the "sweeteners" in the bailout bill are as dubious or odious as (or at least not tremendously less so) than the idea of selling your organs (mostly but not necessarily from your estate).

In a sense its a poor example because most people don't consider the "sweeteners" to be odious (or consider them at all, since they probably know nothing or not much more than nothing about them), while must people find "profit from organs" to be very odious. I don't share that opinion, but most people that in theory he would want to convince do.

BTW - I finally saw the "Politically Incorrect Guide to Politics" 20/20 episode. Pretty good show.
