I certainly hope so.

But with national polling reporting self-identified "Libertarians" at (variously) "6%" to "16%" of the total electorate, and "fiscal conservatives / social liberal/moderates" polling at perhaps 1/5th. of the electorate I wonder if those are LARGE ENOUGH numbers yet to demand representation from one of the two dominant Parties?

Or, given the hide-bound nature of our political oligopoly, will those numbers have to rise just a bit more before advocates for personal liberty and responsible, frugal and limited government will have the necessary political heft to steer one of the two big political battleships?
