Capitalism in the U.S. is a myth. The U.S. is a mixed economy with big government intervention even in the markets much like materialist Russia. The only thing that once upon a time guaranteed a level playing field is a justice system that was impartial.

I don't like doing business with Russians under any guise, they can call themselves capitalists, communists or catholics, under any label they're still thugs who don't respect contract law or any law.

Not long ago our Royal Canadian Mounted Police was a respected policing institution now they have regressed into the same low grade morons we hire to police our borders.

The Royal Society is obviously a politicized institution.

More bling from the Royal Society.

"And the impacts of climate change will fall disproportionately upon developing countries and the poor those who can least afford to adapt. Thus a changing climate will exacerbate inequalities in, for example, health and access to adequate food and clean water."

The following seems to be very nonscientific in that arguments contrary to their position are dismissed beforehand. This certainly is not promoting scientific inquiry.

"This is not intended to provide exhaustive answers to every contentious argument that has been put forward by those who seek to distort and undermine the science of climate change and deny the seriousness of the potential consequences of global warming."
