Yes I hear you say they are losing the vote. However there is a segment of the population that cannot distinguish between the half truths and reality. I wish Obama would get in there and deny what McCain's latest strategy is.. He pitches it and is doing it on all his stumps... And that word socialism. I wonder how many Americans connect with this bail out by the government, the government buying banks is capitalism.... It's pure socialism to me.

If I were an uninformed voter... the word raise my taxes would scare me. I hope this is not what happens. You seem to believe and maybe rightfully so that we have an intelligent electorate.

I saw an ad on TV that suggested taxcutfacts.org to check the size of Obama's tax cuts. I recall Obama saying that seniors earning less than 50K wouldn't have to pay any income tax. So I tried plugging that into the tax calculator so see if the result was zero tax. Unfortunately, the calculator doesn't offer a 50K option. One option is 50-75K, on which the Obama's tax cut would be a measly $500. The other option is 40K, on which Obama's tax cut is substantial, just under 4K, but still far away from no tax--2500 dollars away.

Of course, when they throw these numbers around, they never say whether them mean $50K gross or adjusted gross or what so you can't pin anything down. Still, you'd think his calculator would be pretty close to his rhetoric.

SARAH PALIN THE SOCIALIST: "And Alaska - we are setup, unlike other states in the union, where it's collectively Alaskans own the resources. So we share in the wealth when the development of these resources occurs"
