I see Boyd gaming's earning declined like 70% also in a recent announcement. They also have quit building their Echelon project on the old Stardust site because nobody will finance it. Big surprise there. Nothing like tearing down a profitable casino with likely the most loyal clientele and ending up with nothing but a hole in the ground. Someone should have their head examined there.

What I'm hearing is visitor ship is down slightly but gaming is down big. Folks are still coming they just don't have the gambling budget. Look at room rates at the Venetian as an example, 119 versus 299 a year ago. The offers I'm getting from folks I've hardly gambled at tell me Vegas is hurting in a big way.
