"As you're fond of saying, there goes the goalpost down the field."

Uh, no. The goal posts are still there. The subject was about how Joe got beat up in the media.

"Whether Joe was posing a hypothetical, whether he has a plumber's license, whether he TRULY intends to buy the business, whatever, is TOTALLY BESIDE THE POINT."

Then he should have focused on the question. Dressing it up was a distraction, and became a distraction.

"This is just your ideology getting in the way of the facts."

What are the facts?

"That is, Obama wants to redistribute the wealth of those who have worked hard and accomplished something to those who have worked less hard, or not all, and accomplished little or nothing."

Nope. That isn't factual at all. As was clear from his answer, he was talking about redistributing the tax burden. He wasn't talking about cutting checks.

Your concern for the rich is remarkable if not confusing. However, all Obama is proposing to do is to increase the tax rate for these parasites, I mean these people from 35% to 38%. Really......the rich will not starve or even suffer. In fact, I believe they will still be paying less taxes than when Bush stole the election in 2000.
