Pelosi may not run the Dem party, but I think she exposed the deep down feelings of most Democrats in Congress, that "bipartisanship" means "my way or the highway." To them, it's payback for all of the years they supposedly suffered under Bush. Did you hear the partisan speech Pelosi made right before the bailout vote....and did you hear the fallout from that speech? It made a lot of people, including Dems and me, angry. She got a lot of negative feedback. I think she learned her lesson and will be forced to take Obama's lead. But the real work is on your side. People more moderate like yourself can't just go along and allow the extremists in the party to rule.
