Maybe. But here's something to think about too. If we're going to pay for Medicare and Social Security, then we need each succeeding generation to get larger to pay for those entitlements. If the generations are getting smaller, then we're in big trouble, and that is precisely what is happening. So how do we close the gap? Immigration! But it has to be the right type of immigration. We should be opening up the doors wide open on H-1 visas for professionals. And we should at least be ackowledging all the illegals and finding a way to get them to pay taxes or deporting them. Anyway, what are McCain's plans on immigration? I haven't really looked into it, because I haven't cared to much about that issues in the past.
